Belfast City Centre Centra stores recently took part in a city centre initiative run by Belfast City Council to raise awareness of the importance of recycling.
During Waste Fair 2007, the stores were provided with reusable canvas shopping bags to hand out to their customers. The aim of the project was to raise awareness of unnecessary waste and provide customers with another, more environmentally friendly option to the traditional plastic bags.
