Brandon Wilson (7), from Ballymoney Model Primary School, picks up a bicycle he won in a competition run by local charity Action Cancer and Centra – the main prize in a draw organised as part of Action Cancer’s Health Action health promotion programme for young people, which is sponsored by Centra. Children all over the province have the chance to win a prize each term by completing loyalty cards distributed by Action Cancer staff when the charity’s health promotion teams visit local schools. The cards are stamped at local Centra stores each time the young person or their parents buy fruit or vegetables. After 10 stamps the card is entered into the draw. Brandon was joined by L-R Action Cancer’s Lucy Latewood, teacher Jennifer Goodlisse and Rea Turner from Centra Ballymoney.
