Centra Greenbank held its grand opening and community fun
day on 21st June at the store on the Warrenpoint Road,
Newry.
The store, owned by Joe Larkin invited everyone down
to join in the celebrations with special guest May McFetridge. There
were fun and games for all the family including face
painting, balloon modeling, tastings and treats, and
a mobile disco.
Larkin’s now employs 35 full and part-time staff
and offers a variety of new services. The store
is now bigger and more modern with a wide variety of
fruit and veg, a cold deli and hot food counter, fresh
coffee and wokery as well as fresh meat, chilled foods
and a frozen section.
Joe Larkin said “We are all very proud of the store
and the fact that customers are returning again and again. I
would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and
dedication and to the local people who have supported us.”
