The Centra-sponsored Ulster Rugby Summer Camps for young people started last week and the first camps were attended by some of Ulster Rugby's best known players.
Adam D'Arcy, centre, and Robbie Diack, right, attended the Dungannon RFC camp along with David Sinnamon from Centra Donaghmore, left, to present young participant Jordan McCann (12), from Dungannon with a Best Skills Award in recognition of his playing skills.
Jordan joined dozens of other local children aged 6 – 12 years at the five day camp to learn new skills under the supervision of qualified coaches. They also had the opportunity to meet their rugby heroes and talk to them about their lives as professional players, getting their top tips on the game.
All participants also receive a Summer Camp kit bag with T-shirt, Rugby ball and voucher to an Ulster Magners League match.
Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by independent retail group Centra, are taking place at sixteen province-wide locations this summer and will cater for 1,000 children.
