McDade's Centra Derrylin celebrates relaunch

26th July 2011

The newly refurbished McDade's Centra in Derrylin officially opened its doors on Friday 1st July.

To celebrate the relaunch McDade's Centra invited customers and friends in the local community to join them instore for a day of family fun with a DJ, face painters, balloon modelers and goodie bags available for adults and kids alike! Guests were also treated to a cookery lesson by celebrity chef Neven Maguire who shared some top tips on how to make tasty and healthy meals using locally available produce.

The store, which is owned by local brothers Aidan and John McDade, offers fresh fruit and veg everyday, a traditional butchery counter managed by expert local butcher, freshly baked bread and a hot food counter, sourcing much of its produce from the local area.

There is also now a salad and deli bar, an instore catering service and expanded chilled food section.

Owner Aidan McDade said: "I was delighted to see so many people at the store celebrating the relaunch with us. Our mission is to provide an enjoyable and value for money shopping experience for our local community. We've been in business here for 11 years and are committed to retaining jobs and top quality retail services here in Derrylin. I want to thank all our staff and customers for their support during the refit and the last 11 years."
