Biesty's Centra store in Ballymoney has raised £11,000 for its charity partner Action Cancer.
The amazing amount was raised by store owner Glenn Biesty and his sister Carmen over a six month period, along with staff and customers at the store who took part in a variety of fundraising events, including a fancy dress day and barbecue for 200 people.
The funds have gone towards Action Cancer's life-saving health promotion programme for young people – Health Action - which is sponsored by Centra and its independent retail partners across Northern Ireland. To date Centra has donated £650,000 to the project, allowing more than 350,000 young people to take part.
Celebrating the massive fundraising total are L-R Kerry Anderson from Action Cancer, Carmen Biesty and Glenn Biesty.
