Centra Brand Manager Nicky Kelly and Action Cancer's Kerry Anderson have engines at the ready for their raffle being organised in aid of local charity Action Cancer, which will see one lucky winner drive away with a brand new Smart Fortwo Coupe car for £1.
Organisers believe that at a time when many people are feeling the pinch, the chance to win a car for so little will be tempting. Tickets are being sold in participating Centra stores across Northern Ireland until June.
Centra has a long-term partnership with Action Cancer in support of the charity's health promotion programme for schools and colleges – Health Action. More than 300,000 young people have taken part in sessions teaching them how to lead healthier lifestyles and avoid cancer.
Centra retailers have raised more than £600,000 for the programme. Raffle tickets are also available from Action Cancer on 028 9080 3344.
