Local Kids Meet Rugby Stars at Summer Camps

30th July 2010

Hundreds of children from across Northern Ireland have already had the chance to meet their rugby heroes by taking part in the 2010 Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by Centra.

Children aged 6-12 in towns throughout Northern Ireland have been enjoying a week of non-stop fun, learning new skills under the supervision of qualified coaches and getting an opportunity to meet some of Ulster Rugby’s best-known players, who visit the camps each week.

Participants also receive a Summer Camp kit bag with T-shirt, Rugby ball and voucher to an Ulster Magners League match.

Ulster Rugby Summer Camps are taking place at fourteen different province-wide locations this summer and will cater for almost 1,200 children.

This year there is also a Senior Camp based at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown, for 13-17 year old participants. The camp takes place on August 9 and is aimed at boys and girls with previous rugby experience.

For further information or to register for remaining camps where places are available (£65 for junior camps and £85 for senior camps, with a discount for additional family members) email summercamps@ulsterrugby.com or telephone 028 9049 3111.
