Rugby Heroes Inspire Kids at Summer Camp

7th July 2009

Local children had the chance to meet and be inspired by their rugby heroes during a week of non-stop fun recently when they took part in Ulster Rugby Summer Camps at Harlequins Rugby Club, Malone Road, Belfast and Banbridge RFC.

Dozens of boys and girls aged 6 – 13 years attended the five day camps and met Ulster Rugby stars including Ed O’Donoghue, Stephen Ferris and Ian Humphries, while learning new skills under the supervision of qualified coaches. Participants also received a Summer Camp kit bag with T-shirt, Rugby ball and voucher to an Ulster Magners League match.

Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by Centra, are taking place at seventeen different province-wide locations this summer and will cater for almost 1,500 children.

Ulster Rugby has announced that places are still available at some Summer Camps. For further information or to register (£65 for junior camps and £85 for senior camps, with a discount for additional family members) email summercamps@ulsterrugby.com or telephone 028 9049 3111.
